Mina, the Mama with a Big Heart

Among the many cats that populate our clowder, Mina stands out for her sweet nature and maternal instinct. She is a curious, very greedy, and incredibly good kitten, always ready to observe everything around her with her attentive eyes. However, despite her curiosity, she has a timid nature that makes her keep a safe distance from humans.

Mina is the proud mother of two young and strong kittens in the clowder, Tatì and her/his sibling (we still don’t know for sure the gender). Her maternal instinct is very strong: she has always protected her little ones by any means, trying to raise them safely despite the challenges of outdoor life. Her bond with the volunteers was born thanks to them. Last year, when her kittens were in grave danger, the volunteers quickly took action to help them. That’s when Mina realized that those human hands were not a threat, but a precious help. Since then, she has started trusting a little more, but always in her own way: she shows affection from a distance, with long, grateful looks. 🐾💕🐈

With the other cats in the clowder, she is a true pacifist. She doesn’t like conflicts and, if possible, always avoids any confrontations, even if she has to give up her portion of food. Her gentle nature leads her to seek peace rather than competition, and her favorite spot is a little sunny patch of grass where she can relax and let herself be rocked by the breeze.

Mina is a delicate and special creature, a gentle soul who has learned to live in a balance of suspicion and trust. Every day we see her there, curled up in the sun, and every day she reminds us that patience, respect, and love can create precious bonds, even when made of small gestures and silent glances. 🐱❤️
